Calling All Kids!

Are you ready to begin your superhero journey at the 2nd Annual MontCo Comic Fest?
When you arrive upstairs in the Children’s Department, you will receive your Superhero Passport.
Every time you participate in an activity or event, you will receive a new sticker to put in your passport.
Earn four stickers, and take home a children’s comic book!

11AM – Read To A Superhero Dog
Therapy dogs just love to hear a good story- especially when they’re wearing their super dog costumes!

Children’s Learning Center

11AM – Be Your Own Hero Workshop
Presenter: Julie Anne Evans

Come and create your own superhero characters. Build a costume with materials provided.

12PM – Creating Comic Book Heroes and More
Presenter: Keville Bowen

Learn quick tips on drawing and creating a well-rounded super hero during this hands on drawing workshop.

1PM – Hero School Workshop
Presenter: Theatre Horizon

The Hero School workshop is an exciting, on-your-feet experience where kids get to become a superhero! Offered by Theatre Horizon, this workshop will include dramatic play activities and crafts where kids ages 5-10 can create their own adventure!

2PM – Hero School Workshop
Presenter: Theatre Horizon

Can’t attend the 1st session at 1pm? Come join us for the same great workshop at 2:00 PM

Limited space available for all events. First come, first serve. Arrive early to reserve your spot. All children’s events & activities are located on the 2nd floor in the Children’s Department.
