What are the library hours?

Open to the public:
Mon-Fri: 11am-3pm
Sat: 10am-2pm
Sun: Closed

Extended hours for phone calls:
Mon, Wed, Fri: 9am-5pm
Tues, Thurs: 9am-7pm

How do I get a library card?

How do I renew my library card?

Your library card is renewable for two years and can be renewed at any MCLINC library or at any Bookmobile stop. Just bring ID showing your current address.

What do I do if I have lost my library card?

Notify a staff member immediately as you will be responsible for any materials checked out with the card until it is reported lost or stolen. The replacement cost is $3.00 for an adult card ($1.00 for a juvenile card and thereafter $3.00.)

Do you have wireless Internet access?

Yes. It is free to use.

Do you have fax?

No, we do not offer fax services. Click here to find a location nearby that offers fax services.

Do you loan eBooks to be read on my personal device?

Yes. ebooks and digital audios can be downloaded to personal device.

Can I pick up/return items to a library other than my home library?

Yes, you can pick up holds from any MCLINC member library. You can also return items to any public library in Montgomery County

How do I know which new items have come in?

Sign up for Wowbrary to get a weekly email and find out what new items have come in.

How will you notify me about information regarding my account including reserved items?

We may communicate with you via phone, email or text message. Communications will be for library purposes only, such as an item you have requested is in, your items are almost due, your library card has expired, etc.

  • To sign up for library communications, please see a staff member.
  • For text messaging notices, we will need your cell phone number and your carrier (e.g. Verizon, Sprint, etc.)
Can I pay fines with my charge card or debit card?

Yes, through your online account. There is a $1 fee per transaction. Cash and check are the only forms of payment currently accepted in the Library. Cardholders need their library card barcode number and a password to access their account. Passwords can be created from the account login page.

Do you accept donated books?

Yes, we do. Please review Donations for more information.

Do you have public meeting spaces available for rent?

Yes, MC-NPL makes four rooms available to the public for use. Please review our Public Meeting Spaces for more information.
