Comic Fest is geared to fans of all ages.  Children will enjoy many things on the first floor, but everything upstairs is geared specifically toward those under 12.

Chase from Paw Patrol appearance: Chase will be wandering our children’s dept. from 10-11:30am.

Disney Princess appearance: A popular Disney Princess will be in the library from approximately 11am-12noon.

Design a Superhero: Create your own hero! Pick a name, choose their powers, and decorate their uniform.

Crafting Station: Decorate superhero masks, door hangers, sticker figures, and more!

Create a Comic: Make your very own comic book!

Bean the Bad Guys: Knock down famous villains and help save the city in this fun game.

Video Games: Try your hand at Mario Kart! For ages 6-12 only in the children’s dept. Time limits will be in effect based on the crowd size.

Cosplay on Display: Dress up as your favorite character and walk across our “runway” at 1pm (check in by 11 and line up downstairs by 12:45).  The best costume chosen by our judges in the “13 & under” category will win $100!  Register ahead by emailing JCove@mclinc.org or check in with our greeters on Saturday morning to see if there is room.  We will do our best to allow everyone to participate.

Books: We are a library after all!  Check out special displays throughout the library of Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and Anime/Manga books available to borrow.
