Monday, January 17 at 2:00 pm In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., we will be making Valentines for Veterans and decorating fabric squares to make charity quilts for Project Linus. For kids in grades K-6. Drop in.
Winter Block Party at the Main Library
Winter Block Party Tuesdays, January 13, 20 and 27 at 10:30 am A fun program where preschoolers play with wooden blocks to develop spatial awareness, problem solving, cooperation, planning, and creativity. Ages 3-1/2 to 5 with a caregiver. Registration required. To register, call 610-278-5100 x 205 or stop by the Children's Department.

Sew Awesome! at the Main Library
The 3rd Saturday of every month
January 17, February 21, March 21, April 18 and May 16 at 2:00 pmLearn basic hand and machine sewing techniques, work on a new project, or dream up your own creation! For children in grades 3-6 (no exceptions). Participants are required to bring a parent-signed release form. Class size is limited to 12 and will start on time. First come, first served.

Toddler Tickle Tales - Thursdays at 10:30 am from January 15 through May 21Stories, songs, fingerplays and fun for the active toddler and early preschool child, followed by playgroup time. Thursdays at 10:30am. Ages 2-4 with a caregiver. Drop in.
Baby Lap Rap – Wednesdays at the Main Library
Baby Lap Rap - Wednesdays at 10:30am from January 14 through May 20 Make new friends while playing with early learning toys. Enjoy a short story time with songs and rhymes. For ages 0-24 months with a caregiver. Drop in.
Maker Mondays! at the Main Library
Mondays from January 12 through May 8 4:30-5:30 pm for children in grades 3-6 Fun STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) activities to try. Create, imagine, experiment, explore! Projects will include stop-motion animation, recycled crafts, building, electronics, domino toppling, math fun, and more! Children must have a signed release form on file with the library in order to participate in Maker Mondays/KidsMake @MC-NPL. All school age programs are first come, first served. We suggest you arrive early to guarantee admission. Doors will close and a sign will be posted on the door to the Children's Learning Center when the program is under way. Programs begin on time.
