Mystery Tuesday Book Club

Led by Dr. Monica D’Antonio, former English professor at Montgomery County Community College, this club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 2 pm to discuss thriller, suspense, true crimes, noir and detective fiction.

The Mostly Lesbian Books Club

Meets on the third Monday of each month at 6:30pm. Books discussed will feature lesbian characters or themes or be written by lesbian authors as chosen by the group.  All are welcome to attend.

Enjoy beginners’ Hatha Yoga! Learn the basic poses and alignments of this ancient and popular practice! No experience needed. Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.

Library Volunteer Ash Aragam, a certified Yoga instructor, will conduct the classes. Yoga mats are provided, but patrons are encouraged to bring their own if they have one.

Please consult your doctor/therapist before attending!

Patrons can join Ash from 5 PM to 5:45 PM on most Friday afternoons.

The Anime Club is the place to watch popular Japanese animated series on the big screen. Mob Psycho 100, My Hero Academia and DragonBall Super are just some of the shows that will be viewed for anime fans’ enjoyment. Manga drawing lessons, craft-making, and snacks are also included in the meetings!

Stop by every 1st and 3rd Wednesday and watch Goku save (and almost destroy) the universe again!
