Join us on TUESDAY, June 4, 2024, rain or shine, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., for a fun night in support of Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library! Our annual June Jazz fundraiser is a great way to support the Library and to meet friends old and new. With your ticket, you will enjoy a taco truck meal, two glasses of your beverage of choice (von C’s brews, wine, or soda), live jazz by the Gardyn Jazz Orchestra, a silent auction, and door prizes, all while you mingle with like-minded library enthusiasts.

We will use the proceeds from June Jazz this year to support the planned renovations to our Main Library building. Your support, whether by purchasing a sponsorship, buying tickets, or simply making a donation, will make a difference in the lives of all the many people who use public libraries in Montgomery County.

Tickets

Tickets are $60 per person, and include two complimentary drinks and a taco truck ticket. Tickets are for sale online, and are also available for sale at our Front Desk (where we accept cash or check only).

We held our annual June Jazz fundraiser on Tuesday, July 6, 2023. Twenty-six organizations and individuals sponsored the fundraiser, and turnout was terrific! Our wonderful hosts at von C Brewing Company made everyone feel welcome, and the Taco Truck by Lumbrada Express got rave reviews! The Kool Kats, formerly known as the N Town Band, delivered the smooth, upbeat jazz that our supporters ask for year after year.

Proceeds raised by June Jazz support the Library’s materials budget, placing books and other media straight into the hands, homes, and minds of the Montgomery County families we serve. We are deeply grateful to the following organizations and individuals for generously sponsoring June Jazz.

THANK YOU!

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

Lorem Ipsum was popularized in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Libraries are moving PA Forward! Pennsylvania’s libraries are community centers of information, technology, and learning that fuel educational and economic opportunity for all citizens.

Pennsylvania’s libraries promote the essential literacies people need to meet life’s demands, and reach their greatest potential. And now, through the “#PAForward” initiative, libraries across the Commonwealth are speaking with one voice to highlight the ways in which they foster literacy. The Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library is proud to join this effort.

MC-NPL promotes literacy with our collection and our programs and events. Our offerings promote the five literacies that are the backbone of PA Forward: Basic Literacy, Information Literacy, Civic and Social Literacy, Health Literacy and Financial Literacy. By promoting essential literacies, libraries are powering a better future for everyone.  Literacy is power, and libraries–including MC-NPL–are moving PA Forward!
