This summer, adventure begins at the Conshohocken Free Library!    We have free programming for all ages.  Some programs require registration for safety and enjoyment.  You do not need to be enrolled in our Summer Reading Challenge to attend these programs.  All program attendees earn prizes too.  Events this month:

Adventure Begins Kick-Off Event

Saturday, June 15 11am-1pm  Join us on the lawn and in the community room for special activities and storytimes to kick off our summer reading theme Adventure Begins in the Library!  Get registered on Beanstack, check out summer reading prizes and grab a summer reading bag from the circulation desk while supplies last.

Make & Take Monday

Mondays June 17 and 24 2:30-6pm  Join us in the Community Room for a drop in craft to take home.  Each week features a new craft for independent assembly for ages 8 and up.  Younger ages will need help from caregivers to complete the craft.  Make sure to arrive by 6:15 to allow enough time to complete.  Registration not required at this time but space and supplies may be limited.  All ages.  Children under 8 must be accompanied by someone 14 or older.


Toddler Block Party

Thursdays at 10:30am starting June 20: Join Miss Kate in the Community Room for an hour of building.  Ag3s 3-5.  Registration not required at this time but space is limited.  If maximum occupancy is reached consistently, registration will be implemented to provide a safe and enjoyable experience.

 


Indoor Mini Golf

Friday, June 21 1-4pm and Saturday, June 29 10:30-1:30pm  Enjoy a round of mini golf in the Community Room thanks to a generous equipment loan from Tee’s Golf Center on Conshohocken State Road.  Registration is required for specific time slots to play as equipment is limited.  We may not have flexibility to honor late arrivals and there is a hard stop 30 minutes prior to library closing to clean community room.

Eyes of the Wild

Wednesday, June 26 6pm Leap in to wildlife with Eyes of the Wild!  This program features live animals in the Community Room with a trained handler to help participants learn, enjoy, advocate and protect wildlife.    Per request of performer, the program will start at 6pm sharp and late arrivals may not be accommodated.  Also, no food or drink is permitted during the program and all participants must be seated and quiet for an enjoyable experience.  Registration is required and space is limited.
