May the Fourth Be With You

Celebrate “Star Wars” on May the 4th with Lego Start Wars cartoons at 11am in the community room. We’ll be showing TV episodes of Lego Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles. Arrive early or register in advance for guarantee seating!

About the Movies:

Yoga Chronicles: The Phantom Clone
Grievous lures Yoda away from the Jedi Temple and steals the Padawans light sabers. Dooku plans to use the crystals inside the light sabers to make Sith clones. It is up to Yoda and the Padawans to prevent Dooku from carrying out his plan. TV-PG 22min

Yoda Chronicles: Menace of the Sith
Darth Sidious shows off the new Sith clone JEK, who is an extremely powerful weapon. But JEK wants to be his own master and suddenly, both the Jedi and the Sith try to win him over. It now remains to be seen which side he chooses. TV-PG 22min


Book Club: The Next Chapter

Friday, May 10 at 1pm join us for a midday matinee featuring Book Club: The Next Chapter is intended for ages 18 and up.   Registration is now required but space may be limited.

Four best friends take their book club to Italy for the fun girls’ trip they never had. When things go off the rails, and secrets are revealed, their relaxing vacation turns into a once-in-a-lifetime cross-country adventure. Movie is rated PG13 with a 1 hour 47 minute run time.


Encanto!
Children’s Matinee will feature Disney’s 2021 musical hit Encanto in the community room. Registration is requested and space may be limited. Children under age 8 need to be accompanied by someone 14 or older at all times.

Poor Things

Join us for a midday matinee in the community room on Friday, May 31 at 1pm featuring Oscar winning actress Emma Stone in “Poor Things”. This movie is rated R and intended for an audience of 18 and up. Registration is not required but space may be limited.
About the movie:
Brought back to life by an unorthodox scientist, a young woman runs off with a lawyer on a whirlwind adventure across the continents. Free from the prejudices of her times, she grows steadfast in her purpose to stand for equality and liberation.
