April Movies at the Library

      Earth Day Inspired Movies at the Library in April Over the Hedge

Join us for an Earth Day inspired Children's Matinee on Wednesday, April 10 at 2pm featuring Dreamwork's Over the Hedge. This movie is rated PG with 1 hour 28 minute run time. Space may be limited, so arrive early or register online.

About the Movie: A scheming raccoon fools a mismatched family of forest creatures into helping him repay a debt of food, by invading the new suburban sprawl that popped up while they were hibernating...and learns a lesson about family himself. Register Here!

Wall-E 

Friday, April 19 at 2pm join us for an Earth Day inspired Children's Half Day Matinee showing of Disney Pixar's Wall-E! This movie is rated G with a run time of 1 hour and 38 minutes. Arrive early or register in advance for guarantee seating!

About the Movie: After hundreds of lonely years, a waste management robot finds a new purpose in life. With only a cockroach for a friend, he finds true love in another robot sent on a mission to Earth to see if it is safe for human life. Register Here!

Oppenheimer

See Oscar winning Oppenheimer in the Community Room on Friday, April 26 at 1pm. This movie is 3 hours in length and rated R. No registration is required but space may be limited.

About the Movie: A dramatization of the life story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the physicist who had a large hand in the development of the atomic bomb, thus helping end World War 2. We see his life from university days all the way to post-WW2, where his fame saw him embroiled in political machinations.
