June Jazz @ The Zoo, MC-NPL’s annual fundraiser, is on June 6, from 5-8 pm, at Norristown’s very own Elmwood Park Zoo. We are proud to share that this year marks the 225th anniversary of our founding! Tickets to the event are $50 per person, and 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales goes towards off-setting the library’s persistent funding challenges. Attendees have the chance to listen and dance to the energizing sounds of local jazz group The N Town Band. Guests will enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres complemented by a fine selection of beer and wine. To add to the evening there will also be a fabulous assortment of Silent Auction items up for bid! The Door Prizes – dozens of amazing titles from local and national publishing companies – have become a hallmark of our event, and we are thrilled to say this delightful and literary part of the evening will continue.

By purchasing tickets, or becoming a sponsor, you show confidence in what the Library does for you, your neighbors, and the community at large. All money raised by this event – through sponsorships, ticket sales, and silent auction – goes into the Library’s materials budget, and essentially, straight into the homes, hands, and minds of the Montgomery County families we serve. You also join a wonderful group of individuals and organizations that make a huge difference for the library, including our host for the evening, The Elmwood Park Zoo, and our generous media sponsor, The Times Herald!

Interested in becoming a sponsor of this fun and worthwhile event? Would you like to purchase tickets and spend a fun, music-filled evening at the zoo in support of a good cause? Contact the library about sponsorships and/or tickets at 610-278-5100 x140. We hope to see you there!
