Three Monday evenings in February we will explore important African American artists and then create our own pieces based on their work.  You do not need any art experience to enjoy these classes. Everyone has a story to tell and a unique way to tell it. You can sign up for all three sessions or just one or two.  All supplies will be provided, but please register so we have enough.  The classes run from 6:30-7:30pm.  Keep in mind that the library closes at 8pm sharp.  Register at the front desk or by emailing Jeanne at JCove@mclinc.org. Ages 10-17.

Monday, February 5 – Romare Bearden and collage

Monday, February 12 – Faith Ringgold and story quilts

Monday, February 26 – Alma Thomas and mosaic paintings

(The library is closed for Presidents’ Day on February 19th.)
