Teen Volunteers
The Royersford Free Public Library is happy to accept teen volunteers. Anyone aged 13-17 should come to the circulation desk to pick up a Youth Volunteer Application. Anyone aged 14-17 must complete a PA State Police Criminal History Clearance (PCHC) and a PA Child Abuse History Clearance (CAHC)*. These are free for volunteers. Those aged 18 and older must also complete an FBI Fingerprinting Report.
Volunteers have the opportunity to:
- Assist with programming
- Prepare crafts
- Clean
- Decorate
- Shelve books
Attention: Due to high demand, we cannot guarantee that we can accommodate everyone. Those seeking volunteer hours for the National Honors Society should consider having one or more backup locations in order to obtain all required hours. Hours are first come, first served, so submit your applications as soon as possible!
Adult Volunteers
Unfortunately, the Royersford Free Public Library is not accepting adult volunteer applications at this time.
*Please note: Due to the requirement of government clearances, the Royersford Free Public Library cannot accommodate individuals seeking court-mandated community service hours.
