Enjoy the company of other readers as we discuss a new book the third Saturday of each month.

Our Saturday Book Club selection this month is “Benjamin Franklin: An American Life”, by Walter Isaacson.

[This book] chronicles the founding father’s life and his multiple careers as a shopkeeper, writer, inventor, media baron, scientist, diplomat, business strategist, and political leader, while showing how his faith in the wisdom of the common citizen helped forge an American national identity based on the virtues of its middle class. –Baker & Taylor

Copies of the book are available at the Front Desk.

The Saturday Book Club has been meeting continually since 2001. We always welcome new members! Dr. Harold Halbert leads the discussion.

We encourage registration. Please drop by the Front Desk or call (610) 278-5100, ext. 0 to register.
