You are all are invited, from infants to adults, to come to the library at 6:30 p.m. to log in your minutes and/or book reviews, and collect your prize(s) based on how much reading you have done! Then join us at 7:00 downstairs for an extraordinary multi-media experience! See and touch many modern day sea creatures as well as fossil specimens up to 1/2 billion years old! Genuine taxidermy specimens (no live animals) allow you to pet a shark without being bitten, touch a stingray without getting stung, and see the most poisonous jellyfish in the world up close! It’s an amazing museum exhibit of more than 30 specimens, and a fun, educational, interactive presentation. After the presentation, you’ll have the opportunity to dig, find, and keep an ocean treasure of your very own! Genuine seashells, fossil shark teeth, sea glass, fossil sea squids, fossil clams, and more!
